Routine verbs act on yourself: mi sveglio (I wake myself), mi lava (wash myself). The little mi / ti / si goes right in front.

  = I wake up at seven

• faccio colazione

  (fah-choh koh-laht-see-oh-neh)

  = I have breakfast
